Do I need to book removal?
Yes, let us know about existing gel or acrylic so enough time can be allowed for suitable removal.
When should I book a fill or refresh?
This depends on growth, wear and the system used. Your technician will recommend an interval; contact us sooner if a nail lifts or breaks.
Can I peel off my gel or acrylic?
No. Picking or peeling can remove layers of your natural nail. Book appropriate professional removal instead.
Caring for your nails
- Daily conditioning: Apply a nail and cuticle oil as directed and moisturise hands regularly. For pedicures, use a suitable foot cream on dry areas.
- Protect your finish: Wear gloves for cleaning and prolonged wet work. Do not use nails as tools or pick at lifting edges.
- Choose products for your service: Ask your technician for a suitable cuticle oil, hand cream or foot cream. Follow any specific instructions for your polish or enhancement system.
- Maintenance: Arrange repairs or removal when needed. If you develop redness, pain or irritation, stop using suspected products and seek appropriate advice.
Home-care recommendations: Daily cuticle oil plus hand or foot moisturiser. Ask the studio about suitable retail options.
